Today is the second Wednesday of my SUMMER break…. and it’s going by a little too fast, if you ask me! I’ve already had a few fun adventures this summer. I kicked off the first day of summer by 1. Buying a new car and 2. Going to see Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds. Hello car payment… #betsysonabudget! One of my best friends is having a baby boy in August! I helped a group of sweet friends host a shower for her {the first weekend of summer} in her new home. I’ll have to post baby shower ideas soon! It was so precious! In the midst of all the shower prep I developed a toothache like no other!! Y’all it was awful. So the days after the shower are kinda a blur. Come to find out, I have TMJ. Never knew! I have a temporary mouth guard now and it’s already helping. Thank goodness!! Last week I had the opportunity to see a Braves game at the new Sun Trust Park… and that place is amazing! Of course I quickly stopped in DressUp Boutique before heading in to find Javy! Ha! #bringjavyback! {Side note: Didn’t find a Javy bobblehead. What’s up with that?!} After waiting in the longest line everrrrrrr, H&F Burgers were eaten. I don’t really know what they do to make that burger so delicious…. but it’s worth every penny. Can’t wait to go back to the stadium this summer! I met a friend for dinner at Henry’s in Acworth last Thursday. If you’ve not eaten there… go! I am not a huge creole or spice fan…but even I love Henry’s! {Tip: Make a reservation. That place stays busy 24/7.} Next up on summer adventures was… Bonnaroo. The Roo! It was my second visit to the farm in Manchester, Tennessee…and I doubt it’s my last. I love a concert! U2 was awesome and Red Hot Chili Peppers didn’t disappoint either! This past Monday I worked on my tan… Basically I’m a whiter shade of pale and don’t want to fry like bacon on the beach next month. I HATE being hot. So laying out is a chore for me! This week I also devoted time to getting this blog up and running… so watch out! I’m ready to go now!!
